Antiqued finish crosses in .925 sterling silver.
What antiquing does. The recesses are darkened so the raised surfaces stand forward. On a plain cross it adds little; on Celtic knotwork, INRI lettering or any worked surface it is the difference between legible and flat.
How it reads. Older and more traditional than a high polish. It suits a cross meant to look inherited rather than new.
Caring for it. Polish only the raised surfaces. Scrubbing the recesses removes the oxidation the design depends on, and it does not come back.
