Miraculous Medals in .925 sterling silver.
The medal. Designed from the 1830 apparitions to Catherine Labouré in Paris. The front shows Mary standing on a globe with rays from her hands and the words O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. The reverse carries the M and cross above twelve stars.
Finishes. Polished for brightness, antiqued so the relief and lettering stand out — antiqued is the more traditional choice for this medal, since the design depends on fine detail.
When it is given. A baptism, a confirmation, a First Communion, or simply as a Marian devotion worn daily.
