More about Diamond Bracelets
Diamond bracelet styles
- Hinged oval bangles: the largest group in this collection. A hinged bangle opens on one side and closes with a clasp, so it slips on easily and keeps its oval shape on the wrist. Most are 14K white gold, including three-stone and bamboo designs.
- Half-bangles: a rigid diamond-set front with a flexible chain at the back for comfort, in circle, love knot, and moon and star designs.
- Flexible cuff bangles: open cuffs with a diamond-set motif such as an arrow, heart, circles, bar, or X and O.
- Diamond link bracelets: 4-prong X-design, cluster, double-strand and fancy link styles, mostly 7 inches long.
- 10K gold diamond bracelets: slim bracelets 3 to 5 mm wide in yellow, white and two-tone 10K gold, the most affordable gold pieces in the collection.
- Gemstone and diamond bangles: ruby, sapphire, emerald, amethyst, peridot, garnet, citrine and blue topaz paired with diamond accents.
How to choose a diamond bracelet
Carat weight
The carat figure in each product name is the total weight of all its diamonds. In this collection it runs from 1/10 carat, a subtle sparkle, to 7/8 carat. 1/4 carat is the most common weight.
Diamond quality grade
Many bangles are offered in up to four versions that differ only in diamond quality: I2, I1, SI2/SI3 and VS2/SI1 clarity. I2 diamonds have small inclusions you can see on close inspection and give the most value. VS2/SI1 diamonds are the cleanest and cost the most. The design stays the same; only the diamonds change.
14K or 10K gold
14K gold is 58.3% pure gold and 10K gold is 41.7%. Both are solid gold, stamped with their karat and never plated. 14K has a richer color, while 10K is harder and costs less. Most white gold pieces carry a rhodium finish for a bright white look.
Fit
Most bracelets here are 7 inches long. For a chain or link bracelet, measure your wrist and add about half an inch. Hinged bangles open on one side, so they slip on without passing over your knuckles. Our guide on how to measure your wrist for a bracelet walks through it step by step.
Caring for a diamond bracelet
Wash it in warm soapy water with a soft brush to keep the diamonds bright, then dry it with a soft cloth. Check the settings now and then, and take it off before a chlorinated pool or heavy work.
Frequently asked questions
Are these diamond bracelets real gold?
Yes. Every gold bracelet here is solid 14K or 10K gold, stamped with its karat and never plated or filled. The one exception is a stainless steel cuff with an 18K gold accent, which is labeled as stainless steel.
What carat weight is best for an everyday diamond bracelet?
Many shoppers choose 1/4 to 1/2 carat total weight for daily wear: it gives visible sparkle on a comfortable, everyday piece. 3/4 carat and up makes a dressier statement.
Is shipping free?
Shipping is free on U.S. orders over $135.
Can I return a diamond bracelet?
