The symbol. Designed in 1958 for the British nuclear disarmament march, from the semaphore signals for N and D inside a circle. It has meant more or less everything since.
Designs. Plain polished circles, diamond-cut faces that catch light, enamelled colour, and open versions where the metal is cut away between the arms.
Sizes. Small charms through to statement pendants. The larger open designs read best worn alone.
