Why 10K on a bracelet. Ten karat is 41.7% gold against 14K's 58.3% â harder, and lower priced. A bracelet takes more knocks than any other piece, since wrists meet desks, doors and steering wheels. The extra hardness matters more here than on a necklace.
Link constructions. Rope, curb and fancy links built to take daily wear rather than occasional use.
Sizing. A bracelet should turn freely on the wrist but not pass over the hand â roughly half an inch more than your wrist measurement.
