Sterling silver bangles and cuffs in .925 silver. The difference matters: a cuff is open at one side and holds its shape, a bangle is a closed circle, and a hinged bangle opens on a clasp and closes flush.
Fancy. Fancy bangles and cuffs is the largest group â textured, twisted and patterned metal without stones.
How they open. Hinged bangles swing open on a hinge and click shut, so the opening is smaller than your hand. Slip-on bangles are solid circles you push over the hand. Classic cuffs open at the side and slide on from underneath.
Flexible. Flexible bangles give slightly as they go on, which suits a hand that a rigid slip-on will not clear.
Sizing. A slip-on has to pass the widest part of your hand, so measure that rather than your wrist. A hinged bangle only needs to fit the wrist.
