Shapes. Seventy-one heart lockets, thirty-one ovals and eight rounds — from a small infant oval to statement sizes. Most hold two photographs.
Stone-set and engraved. Twenty-six lockets are set with real diamonds, seven with cubic zirconia. Others are engraved, filigree-cut or enamelled, and two are engravable for a name or date.
Choosing a metal. Solid 14K gold is the heirloom choice and holds engraving crisply for decades. Sterling silver gives the same shapes at a fraction of the price and suits a piece worn every day.
