Ways to keep someone close. All are .925 sterling silver — thirty-one plain polished or engraved silver, and twenty-nine with a rhodium finish over the silver, which keeps the shine bright and resists tarnish on a piece worn daily.
Shapes. Twenty-seven heart lockets, eighteen ovals and six rounds, from a tiny infant oval to a locket sized to read across a room. Most open to hold two photographs.
Stone-set. Thirteen are set with diamonds and seven with cubic zirconia, plus Swarovski crystal and enamel designs. Several carry a message — Always On My Mind, In Memory — for a remembrance piece.
Fitting a photo. Trim the picture to the frame shape before pressing it in; most lockets take two. Chains are sold separately so you can choose the length.
