    Filter

Wheat chains in solid 14K and 10K yellow gold. Every length we stock is shown on the product page.

How a wheat chain is made. Four strands of twisted oval links braided together so they lie in one direction, like a head of wheat. The Italian name is spiga, and you will see both used.

Why choose it. A wheat chain is stronger than a rope of the same width because the four strands support each other. It also holds its shape rather than twisting, which matters if you are hanging a heavy pendant.

Width. Under 1.5mm suits a pendant. 2mm and up wears well alone.
