The bangle family
A bangle is a rigid circle rather than a flexible chain, and that single difference changes how it wears: it turns on the wrist, catches light from every angle as it moves, and stacks with others in a way a chain bracelet never does.
The family splits by how it goes on. A hinged bangle opens and closes with a clasp. A slip-on is a closed circle that passes over the hand. A cuff is open at the back and goes on sideways. A flexible bangle gives a little as it passes the hand, then holds its shape.
Getting the size right
For anything that has to pass over the hand, measure your hand at its widest with the thumb tucked into the palm, then divide by 3.14 for the inner diameter. For a hinged bangle, measure the wrist instead. Sizes are on each product page.
About the metal
Solid .925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver with copper added for strength, stamped .925, never a plated or silver-tone base metal. Some pieces carry a rhodium finish, which slows tarnish; the silver underneath is unchanged.
Care
Silver tarnishes in air and it reverses — a polishing cloth lifts it in seconds, and a piece worn often tarnishes far less than one left in a box. For a textured or woven surface, a soft toothbrush with warm water and a drop of dish soap reaches what a cloth cannot. Dry fully and store in a closed pouch. Off before a chlorinated pool.
