Flexible bangles are built from linked or spring segments that give slightly as they go on, then hold their round shape on the wrist. These are in solid .925 sterling silver.
Why flexible
A flexible bangle reads as a solid bangle but behaves like a bracelet. Internal links or a coiled core let it expand just enough to pass the hand, then close back to a circle. That gives you the clean unbroken look of a bangle with the tolerance of a clasped bracelet, and it is far more forgiving of a wrist that changes size with heat or over the course of a day.
Because the movement is in the construction, these are more comfortable for long wear than a rigid bangle — they shift with the wrist instead of sitting against it.
Getting the size right
Flexible styles carry more tolerance than a rigid bangle, but they still have to clear the hand. Measure the widest part of your hand with your thumb tucked in. If you are between sizes, most people are better in the larger one.
About the metal
Solid .925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver with copper added for strength, stamped .925, never a plated or silver-tone base metal. Some pieces carry a rhodium finish, which slows tarnish; the silver underneath is unchanged.
Care
Silver tarnishes in air and it reverses — a polishing cloth lifts it in seconds, and a piece worn often tarnishes far less than one left in a box. For a textured or woven surface, a soft toothbrush with warm water and a drop of dish soap reaches what a cloth cannot. Dry fully and store in a closed pouch. Off before a chlorinated pool.
