The 14K Yellow Gold Diamond Claddagh with Poem 18mm Heart Locket is a hollow 14K Yellow Gold heart locket that opens to hold two photographs cut to 16 x 16 mm. Stamped 14K and guaranteed authentic — the gold runs through the piece rather than over it, so the color cannot wear thin at the edges the way a coating does. The body is hollow, as a locket has to be, which keeps it light enough to wear every day.
The surface is polished. Inside, a pink fabric liner cushions the photographs. It is reversible, so a second design shows when it is turned over. It is die struck, which gives the detail crisper edges than casting.
