The 10K Yellow Gold Men's High-Polished Oval Tie Tac is a solid 10K Yellow Gold tie tack with a polished finish. It is stamped 10K: 10K gold is 41.7% pure gold, alloyed for strength, and this is real gold, never plated or filled.
It measures 8.46 mm (0.33 in) long and 11.8 mm (0.46 in) wide, and weighs about 0.52 grams. The post pushes through the tie and the clutch holds it from behind, so it pins the tie to the shirt placket and keeps it flat.
