Ours are two real pieces: a solid 14K gold, 10K gold or .925 sterling silver number from 0 to 99, and a separately made chain in the length you want. Choose the style, the metal and the chain; add a second number later or move the charm to a bracelet. Every number is stamped for purity and guaranteed authentic, never plated or filled.

Number necklace questions

Which chain length should I choose for a number pendant?

For most women, 18 inches sits just below the collarbone and is the most popular length for a single number. Men usually choose 20 to 22 inches, and athletes often prefer 22 to 24 inches so the number sits lower on the chest. Children's lengths are 14 to 16 inches.

Will the chain fit through the number's bail?

Yes when you choose from the chains we show here. Small and medium number charms have small bails, so the builder offers fine chains, 0.5 to 1.3 mm, on the For her and Unisex tabs and slightly fuller links, up to about 2 mm, on the For him tab, and it leads with spring-ring clasps that pass through every number bail we carry. Large number pendants take fuller chains and the builder adjusts for them.

Can I wear two numbers together, for a year or a date?

Yes. Each number is its own charm, so you can add two or more to one chain, for example 19 and 98 for a birth year, or 7 and 24 for a date. Build the first pair here, then add the second number from its product page. Several of our medium styles also have a top bar that holds two numbers side by side.

Is the gold real?

Yes. Our 14K numbers are 58.3% pure gold and our 10K numbers 41.7% pure gold, each stamped and guaranteed authentic. Sterling silver numbers are stamped 925. Nothing here is gold-plated or gold-filled.

How fast will my number necklace ship?

Orders placed by 4 PM Eastern ship the same business day. Shipping is free within the contiguous United States on orders over $135, which most number-and-chain pairs reach.
