What width band should I choose?

Width is personal, not technical. Narrower bands suit slimmer fingers and sit closer to an engagement ring; wider bands read more substantially and are the more common choice for men. What is comfort fit?

The inside of the band is domed rather than flat, so it passes over the knuckle on a curve. It feels looser at the same measured size, so a comfort fit band is often ordered a quarter size smaller than a flat one.

What does lightweight mean?

It refers to the thickness of the wall, not the width of the band. A lightweight band has less gold behind its face, so it weighs less and costs less while looking the same width on the hand.

Can these be engraved?

Where a band has a flat enough inner surface to take lettering, the product page says so — look for Engravable in the specifications. A band with a pattern cut through it generally cannot be engraved.

Does white gold need re-plating?

The rhodium finish on white gold wears thin over years of daily wear and a jeweler re-applies it. The gold underneath is unchanged — the finish is cosmetic, and the band is solid 10K white gold throughout.
